Our client is a leading company in the UK Water Sector. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in London. The selected candidate will be an experienced manager who will be responsible for delivering a large program of capital projects. You will provide MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, facilities lifecycle, waste and water network functions, above and below ground.

This is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to numerous aspects of the business, including senior stakeholder engagement, major construction projects as well as providing planning and support to the business. This is a challenging role which will give the successful candidate an opportunity to make improvements and drive the business forward.

 

Role:

  • Deliver all capital projects to budget, ensuring turnover is managed in line with forecast. 
  • Delivery of all construction projects on program with 100% compliance to client specification whilst managing the procurement process.
  • Leading, motivating and developing a multi-disciplined team of Project Managers and Project Delivery Engineers, setting and monitoring objectives through regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure effective flow and input of commercial information to meet the financial deadlines of the business.
  • Managing the clients site requirements, ensuring minimal impact to the functionality of the site.
  • Deliver all projects within legislative and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental compliance and HR responsibilities.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety is at the heart of everything that is done and that a strong Health and Safety culture is continually developed.
  • Management of multiple stakeholders, developing sustainable, long lasting relationships across all areas of the internal business and across our supply chain.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Experienced leader in the UK Water Sector/Process related industry.

  • Project Management Qualification (desirable).

  • H&S Qualification e.g. NEBOSH.
