This role is ideal for an engineer with around 5–8 years' experience who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients and contributing to schemes from concept through to completion. You'll be joining a collaborative structural team working across a mix of new-build and refurbishment projects, with exposure to a broad range of building structures and development-led schemes. The Role You'll be involved in: Delivering structural design solutions across residential and commercial developments Producing structural calculations, reports and technical specifications Designing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber where appropriate Supporting projects from feasibility through to construction Liaising with architects, contractors and project stakeholders Attending site visits and technical meetings Assisting with project coordination and technical delivery What They're Looking For 5–8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer within a UK consultancy environment Strong structural design capability across building structures projects Experience working on residential and commercial developments Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer and TEDDS Good understanding of UK design standards and regulations Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage projects with a degree of autonomy This role would suit a well-rounded engineer looking to continue developing their technical and project delivery experience within a supportive consultancy environment. CIVIL ENGINEER

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with a background in clean water, wastewater or wider water sector projects who enjoys taking ownership of design packages, mentoring junior engineers and delivering technically robust solutions from concept through to detailed design. You'll be working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, supporting a varied portfolio of water infrastructure schemes while playing a key role in technical delivery, stakeholder engagement and design assurance. The Role You'll be involved in: Delivering civil engineering design packages for water infrastructure projects Producing technical reports, specifications and design documentation Carrying out hydraulic calculations and developing hydraulic profiles Supporting design development from feasibility through to detailed design Undertaking site visits and identifying practical engineering solutions Preparing design risk assessments and technical reviews Presenting designs at HAZOP, ALM, KM and other technical review meetings Managing design changes and ensuring compliance with project procedures Supporting and mentoring CAD Technicians, Graduates and Junior Engineers What They're Looking For Significant experience within the regulated water industry Strong civil engineering design capability Experience carrying out hydraulic calculations and hydraulic modelling Ability to develop and deliver technically compliant design solutions Experience producing technical reports and engineering specifications Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills Ability to lead design packages independently Ideally: 10+ years' relevant water sector experience Degree, HND or equivalent engineering qualification Membership of a relevant professional institution Working towards or already achieved Chartership Experience across: Clean water treatment Wastewater treatment Water networks Pumping stations Water infrastructure projects would be highly beneficial.
