RISK MANAGER

Our client is looking to bring on a seasoned Risk Manager, on a permanent basis, to operate within their engineering organisation. This role will consist of an on-site working arrangement, where in which the chosen professional will work from one of our client’s offices in Derby or Enfield. This opportunity holds the ability to work on developing and delivering a range of non-infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and sustainability. -Competitive salary (subject to experience). -Company pension scheme, on-site working arrangement, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Oversee coordinated risk assessment, identification, and prioritisation, within a variety of non-infrastructure projects, ensuring requirements and objectives are met. -Observe risk exposure, early warning signs, and trigger points to allow for effective and proactive resolution and escalation, concise cost profiling, and budget reductions. -Liaise with project teams to develop effective and functional mitigation plans, allowing for risks to remain within a manageable threshold. -Establish accurate risk reports, enabling transparency within internal exchanges, timely senior leadership resolutions, and the ability to make informed decisions. -Carry out quantitative risk assessments across cost, schedule, and integrated project elements, with the use of resources such as Safran, @Risk, PRA, and other platforms. -Offer technical insights, backed up by data, support ongoing risk process improvements, and ensure traceability, with the use of risk and reporting tools. Requirements: -Profound experience as a Risk Manager, or a relevant position, delivering efficient risk management solutions for a range of complex projects and systems. -Strong leadership skills, with the ability to host productive risk analysis workshops, allowing for informed decisions to be established by stakeholders. -Significant abilities within mitigation strategy production and a great understanding of risk assessment practices, both quantitative and qualitative. -Profound proficiency within relevant software tools, centred around risk management and data visualisation. -Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement and management skills, with a drive for ongoing development and business progression. DESIGN MANAGER

DERBY | Permanent
£70,000 - £85,000 per Annum

Blueprint Recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity on offer for a seasoned Regional Design Manager to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this role, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Derby, but our client will consider candidates located in Kent and East Sussex. You will be responsible for managing all design processes within a variety of Water Treatment projects. -Competitive salary of £70,000-£85,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the internal design teams to ensure high-quality performance, development, and resource allocation. -Establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders to allow for the project to follow the requirements fully. -Support project planning processes, tendering, and forecasting through sharing design expertise and identifying risks and challenges. -Promote team development and progression through ongoing innovation, sustainable practices, and digital tools. -Ensure all designs comply with client standards and align with regulations through observation and quality assurances. -Nurture health and safety within designs, allowing for full alignment with CDM regulations and best practices. CAD TECHNICIAN

NATIONWIDE | Permanent
£40,000 - £55,000 per Annum

We have an exciting new opportunity, here at Blueprint Recruitment, for a skilled CAD Technician to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Water and Wastewater projects, leading and managing our client’s design team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the production and delivery of 3D model designs and BIM systems for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. -Introduce and maintain BIM workflows, strategies, and standards to allow for the project to follow high quality and consistency throughout. -Guide and mentor the design team, consisting of CAD and BIM technicians, providing ongoing training and support. -Collaborate with numerous professionals, ranging in disciplines, to allow for an effective integration of design specifications, whilst conducting clash detection tests. -Review models and designs, providing feedback and guidance, to allow for quality, health and safety, specification alignment, and compliance to be maintained. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all projects works and promote development across BIM deliverables. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Architecture, or a similar field, with extensive experience with leadership and digital design management. -10+ years of experience as a CAD Technician, with experience creating CAD/BIM models and designs for Water and Wastewater projects. -Solid proficiency with the use of software tools, such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and/or other tools, including model coordination and clash detection systems. -Strong understanding of the implementation of BIM standards whilst ensuring current regulations are being followed. -Adequate grasp of pertinent design and engineering codes within the Water sector. -Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to support and train colleagues.For further information on this opportunity, please contact Oliver Catalano on 02392 603030 or email oliver.catalano@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
