This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil / Structural Engineer to support the delivery of structural design work across major water infrastructure projects. The team is looking to appoint two engineers with a minimum of 6 years’ experience who are confident delivering reinforced concrete and foundation designs. Previous water sector experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential for the position. The role offers remote working from the offset. This is a flexible, remote opportunity offering approximately 20-30 hours of work per week, making it well suited to someone looking for an adaptable contract alongside other commitment. The Role You’ll produce detailed structural designs for steel structures within the rail sector, using Tekla to develop accurate models and drawings in line with project requirements. The work will be relatively ad hoc, so you’ll need to be comfortable working independently and responding flexibly as design requirements develop.
