Within this role you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a large-scale rail project, though the 4th and 5th Stages, working alongside other professionals to reach the project’s completion. -Competitive day rate ranging from £500-£650 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangement (3 days on-site and 2 days from home) Responsibilities: -Lead the design deliverables, through Stages 4 and 5, gathered from the supply chain, ensuring that timelines, quality, and compliance to project standards are being met. -Manage the collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to allow for efficient query resolution and transparent communication. -Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and assurance teams to accurately locate design risks and challenges, scope gaps, and communication issues. -Foster safe design practices for maintenance, construction, and operation, whilst also ensuring the project complies with CDM regulations. - Keep up to date with the projects progress and development, through site visits and documentation, reporting any risks to the commercial and delivery teams. -Assist with the subcontract management and cost reconciliation process throughout the project’s lifespan. Proficiency in structural analysis tools (e.g., Tekla Tedds, S-Frame 3D, MIDAS). Solid understanding of relevant CDM regulations and Health & Safety legislation. Proven experience in project management and client-facing roles. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
