We are searching for a highly skilled, Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established client in a permanent role, working from their office in Croydon. Our client is a leading engineering Consultancy, offering expertise in a variety of sectors including, structures, geotechnical engineering and land surveying. Key Responsibilities: -Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for engineering projects. -Guide project teams, liaise with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects on time and within budget. -Develop designs and documentation to meet project and technical requirements. -Checking of design documents, calculations and drawings completed by other engineers. -Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections. Key Requirements: -Prior industry experience within bridges, tunnels, stations & buildings. -Effective communication and teamwork skills. - 8 years plus of experience in relevant discipline with a track record of delivering high profile projects - Experience with design using various material e.g. concrete, steel, timber and masonry. - Effective communication and teamwork skills -Expertise using calculations and analysis tools such as Slope W, Settle 3, CADS Pile Suite, PILE, ALP, Kubla Cubed, or similar. Here at Blueprint Recruitment we are looking for an experienced and driven Resident Engineer to join one of our top-tier clients – a global leader in engineering services. This is a fantastic contract opportunity working 3 days per week on site in Southwest England, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-impact projects in a technically challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: -Manage on-site engineering work to make sure it meets technical and safety standards. -Be the main link between the engineering team and site staff, helping to solve technical issues. -Organise inspections, testing, and commissioning to ensure work meets regulations and client needs. -Keep track of contractor progress and deal with any risks early. -Report regularly on-site activity and keep key people informed. -Help improve and update engineering designs during construction when needed. The successful candidate will work in a contract role, working on a hybrid basis, requiring you to attend the clients office in West London at a minimum of 2 days a week. Our client is a leading architectural practice, well known for delivering innovative, sustainable, and carefully crafted architecture. Key Responsibilities: -Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages. -Prepare and manage drawings, specifications, and related documents. -Ensure designs meet UK Building Regulations and industry standards. -Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and team members. -Support design development from RIBA Stage 3 to completion. -Attend site visits, surveys, and coordination meetings.
