Blueprint Recruitment is working with a leading global engineering consultancy renowned for delivering sustainable infrastructure and transport solutions. We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven Drainage Engineer to join our client’s expanding team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role where you will be required 2 days per week in one of our clients offices based across West Yorkshire, Midlands and Southwest England offices, where you'll contribute to high-profile highway infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: -Design highway drainage systems in line with national and local standards. - Checking and overseeing design -Apply SuDS principles to roads and highways improvement projects. -Use tools like MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, or InfoDrainage for modelling and analysis. -Prepare reports, drawings, and drainage strategy documents. -Ensure compliance with DMRB and support planning submissions. This will consist of hybrid working, with up to three days a week in the clients office in Southampton.
