This fantastic position is located in Hertfrodshire, and provides an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. This long-term contact position provides an excellent opportunity to work within our client’s Internal Design Team on some fantastic industrial, structures, and build projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of a small portfolio of assignments, or sections of larger ones. Our client operates on flexible team structure, so there will be opportunities to work across a variety of sectors. This position is located in Wales and requires the selected candidate to operate on a hybrid basis. Key responsibilities: Apply sound engineering practices to prepare detailed designs, calculations, and deliverables following relevant standards. Use BIM-led design and structural software tools like STAAD Pro, FEM Analysis, or Autodesk Robot. Plan, manage, and organize projects to meet time, cost, and quality targets. Prepare and control project budgets while ensuring compliance with quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards. Train and mentor Engineers, Graduate Engineers, and Technicians, while coordinating teams for successful project delivery. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and the supply chain to develop project objectives and maintain strong relationships. Key requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative qualification.
