ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

London | Contract
£320 - £400 per Day

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer and looking for your next career move? Join a forward-thinking rail contractor company, based in London, are looking for multiple talented Electrical Design Engineers to support our client’s ongoing operations, driving them towards excellence within project delivery. As the successful candidate, you will be tasked with the design and development of complex rail and aviation projects from our client’s Heathrow site. -Competitive day rate ranging from £320-£400 (subject to experience). -On-site working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Establish comprehensive electrical system designs, across a range of rail infrastructure projects, from concept through to design. -Produce, analyse, and develop detailed drawings, documentation, reports, specifications, and calculations, adhering to industry standards and regulations. -Collaborate with project professionals, across various disciplines, coordinating work outputs to ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations. -Attend site visits, on a regular basis, monitoring site works and outputs, whilst identifying and resolving issues, whilst supporting commissioning processes. -Support design implementation through the development of mitigation strategies, whilst analysing existing data to establish efficient design solutions. -Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external specialists, attending project meetings and presentations to share designs, implementing edits based on provided feedback. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Building Services Engineering, or a relevant discipline, ideally holding a Chartered Engineer status. -Significant experience delivering rail infrastructure projects, as an Electrical Design Engineer, or similar, creating in-depth electrical system designs. -Significant proficiency in the use of relevant industry software resources and tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, and other related calculation platforms. -Proficient understanding of industry standards, regulations, codes, key legislation, and best practices, and its application within project works and delivery. -Strong task and responsibility management abilities, keeping to budgets and deadlines, with strong communication and collaborative skills. PROJECT MANAGER

With our client’s ongoing commitment to operational brilliance, they are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to handle all project works, on a contract basis. Lead, oversee, and manage a professional project team across a series of pre-construction NEC option E pathfinder projects, covering a range of disciplines. REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

We are working with a leading BIM consultancy to support them on their search for an experienced Revit MEP Coordinator on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the coordination of various projects, creating detailed designs and models, adhering to quality standards and client expectations. This opportunity would require a hybrid working, set up out of our clients Essex based office, just East of Greater London. -Competitive rate of £35-£40 per hour (depending on experience). -Flexible working arrangements (office presence is preferred but remote will be considered).
