Our client, an international multidisciplinary Consultancy, are searching for a professional Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in London, on a hybrid basis.
Our client is a leading Consultancy, with varying offices across Europe, designing sustainable solutions in varying sectors – Aviation, Nuclear,Life Science, Defence, Power and Rail sectors, in order for a healthier and safer world.
Key responsibilities:
· Working on new and exciting buildings with clients and experienced architects within the aviation sector.
· Communicate with clients effectively and offer innovative design solutions.
· Will be responsible for making decisions on the progress of the project at hand, daily.
- Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload regularly and working to time allocations.
- Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems - power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection etc.
Key requirements:
· Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field and chartered (or must be willing to work towards this).
· Have a proportionate amount of experience leading and delivering projects in the Aviation sector.
· Uphold previous experience in the electrical design engineering field.
· The ability to work independently but also as a multi-disciplinary design team, also coordinating these teams.
· Have experience overseeing and leading junior engineers.
· Must be able to pass security clearance, also airside pass applications.
