STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

London | Permanent
£32,000 - £40,000 per Annum

Blueprint Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity on offer for a skilled intermediate Structural Engineer to be an active member of a well-established engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. Within this role, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s London office, where you will be managing a variety of Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial projects. -Competitive salary ranging from £32,000-£40,000 (depending on experience) -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Design and analyse structural systems that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations. -Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards. -Construct reports, drawings, and calculations using software such as Tekla, ETABS, or Revit. -Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice and throughout the project. -Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations. BIM COORDINATOR

London | Contract
£300 - £360 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking a seasoned BIM Coordinator to join a major Tier 1 contractor, on a 6-month initial contract, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site from our client’s three London sites. You will have the opportunity to work on 3 large-scale, exciting commercial projects, as a valued member of a skilled team. -Competitive day rate ranging from £300-£360 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring the designs meet the project requirements. -Conduct clash detection tests to find complications, and problems, and ensure that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan. -Make sure that models are concise and that documentation is organised efficiently in the Common Data Environment. -Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements. -Organise coordination meetings to discuss and find solutions for any design and/or model issues and challenges. -Attend site visits to make sure the project is progressing effectively and efficiently. Requirements: -Prior experience as a BIM Coordinator, or a related role, preferably in refurbishment -Strong technical background, with previous experience of using software tools such as Revit, Navisworks and Revizto. -Experience of working with clash detection systems and COBie data systems. -Solid grasp of current BIM standards, regulations and policies. -Ability to manage and process BIM models accurately. -Strong communicator with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

London | Contract
£40 - £45 per Hour

Blueprint Recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity on offer for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy, on a contract basis, outside IR35. Within this role, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s London office, 3 days a week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Residential and Healthcare projects, stage 4-5. -Competitive hourly rate of £40-£45 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Create concise drawings, specifications, layouts, and calculations, for complex mechanical systems. -Coordinate with other professionals (architects and engineers) to ensure the controlled implementation of mechanical systems. -Support the implementation of drawings, as-built documentation, commissioning, and submittals, within the construction stage. -Assess, and provide strategic solutions for, design risks to ensure compliance with current regulations, standards, and sustainability targets. -Establish and distribute timelines and workload across a variety of projects, using client and stakeholder feedback to develop project designs and plans. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Services. -Extensive experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, or a similar position, ideally working on Residential and Healthcare projects. -Strong understanding of design software tools, such as AutoCAD, BIM tools, and Revit, and calculation methods. -Solid grasp of current building regulations, standards, and principles. -Proficient communicator with strong teamwork skills, with the willingness to work with numerous stakeholders, clients, and professionals. -Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage and effectively prioritise workload, whilst maintaining a proactive and problem-solving mindset. SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s Oxfordshire office. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Data Centre projects, with an experienced and motivating team. -Competitive salary ranging from £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the design developments for a variety of Data Centre projects, ranging in scales. -Produce concise calculations and simulations, looking into voltage drop, harmonics, load flows, short circuit, and fault levels. -Create and analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure that all works are in line with client requirements. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to allow for smooth building design implementation. -Guide, and provide support to, junior or associate engineers, providing constructive feedback, promoting development and progression. -Conduct site visits, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes as, or when, required during the construction stages.
