Solid knowledge of UK water industry standards and regulations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred. Key Responsibilities: -Creating and managing comprehensive commissioning records and documentation. -Overseeing and coordinating all commissioning activities. -Leading commissioning meetings with subcontractors and clients as needed. -Reviewing and approving commissioning documentation and Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS). -Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues during the commissioning phase. -Performing pre-commissioning inspections and equipment/system testing Key Requirements: -Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. -Must have prior experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects. -Proven experience collaborating with contractors or water utility providers. -Strong understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems. -Familiarity with ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is advantageous. This role offers the chance to work on an exciting waste to energy project. The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week based in the client’s Leatherhead office. Our client is a leading global engineering and technology company, delivering innovative solutions in aerospace, defence, energy, and sustainability. What you will be responsible for: As a Senior Designer, you will be supporting the lead designer to carry out the following tasks within allotted timelines and budgets: -Coordinate, model in E3D and produce composite underground services drawing showing all underground services like drainage, firewater, potable water, cable trenches etc. -Develop detailed E3D models and drawings for site infrastructure such as paving, access roads, haul roads, and service roads.
