Our client, a highly respected and dynamic Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy, is seeking talented individuals with experience in NEC contracts and the Water/Utilities sector. Key Responsibilities: -Lead pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties across a portfolio of projects. -Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, tender documentation, and contract administration. -Manage risk, value, and cost control throughout project lifecycles. -Advise clients on procurement strategies and contract selection. -Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery. -Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to team development. -Report to Directors with regular financial updates and commercial strategy recommendations. Key Requirements: -Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction-related discipline. -MRICS or working towards Chartered status (preferred). -Minimum 5 years’ relevant UK consultancy or contractor experience. -Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts. -Excellent communication and client-facing skills. -Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. -A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: -Manage daily site operations to ensure efficient workflow. -Lead and motivate the team, including site workers and subcontractors. -Ensure all work meets project specs, safety standards, and regulations. -Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and quality. -Manage resources such as materials, tools, and equipment. -Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely deliveries. -Report site progress, delays, and issues to senior management. - Keep accurate records of site activities, including logs and work completed. The successful candidate will join our client in a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week working from the clients London office. Our client is a leading contractor specialising in water, wastewater, and industrial water construction projects, focusing on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that are sustainable. Key Responsibilities: -Plan, review, and monitor project execution, including approval of construction plans. -Promote safety, quality standards, and BMS implementation throughout the project. -Ensure sufficient trained personnel and clear roles for the project team. -Manage commercial aspects, providing forecasts and ensuring PEP records are complete. -Report non-conformities, estimate costs, and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies. -Apply project management practices from start to completion and stay updated through professional development. -Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
