Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading mechanical and electrical contractor in a long-term contract position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) on site in Central London. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of residential projects, with an experienced and motivating team.

-Competitive daily rate of £400-£450 (depending on experience).

Key responsibilities:

-Design electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure.

-Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.

-Liaise with the BIM Team and site installation team.

-Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability targets.

-Support project delivery from concept to completion.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

-Experienced in Stage 5 Design.

-Experience working on multidiscipline projects across all market sectors with a particular focus on Residential in a Senior position.

-Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant software.

-Strong teamwork and communication skills.
