Responsibilities: -Create, develop, and maintain detailed structural drawings, specifications, reports, and other key documentation, from feasibility through to finalised design. -Contribute towards the assembly of in-depth structural designs, calculations, and analyses, ensuring alignment with key UK industry regulations and standards. -Work alongside internal and external project teams, across a range of disciplines, allowing for issue resolution, constructability advice, sustainability, and cost efficiency. -Support site investigations and assessments, through frequent site visits, and feasibility studies, whilst providing technical insights and guidance throughout. -Promote the professional development of junior engineers by providing ongoing guidance and mentorship, ensuring quality assurance and best practice. -Ensure projects are delivered effectively, adhering to cost and timeline constrictions, allowing for client requirements to be ensured and maintained across all projects. We are seeking someone who can bring expertise and extensive knowledge to this role, focusing on drainage and highways. The successful candidate will work in a permanent position, on a hybrid basis, with three days a week in the client South-West London office. You will also be required to travel to site when needed. Our client is a civil engineering consultancy focused on delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions, serving sectors such as transport, utilities, and multi-disciplinary engineering.
