As the selected QSHE Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and guide our client’s Quality and HSE teams in their Africa and MED regions, eliminating incidents, losses, and all Quality non-conformances at all stages of the projects and operations. This position has an estimated start date of January 2024. Our client provides a full spectrum of capabilities that covers the entire value chain of exploration, development, production, and rejuvenation as well as decommissioning and abandonment. They have particular expertise in Operations and Maintenance Services, Engineering and Construction. Key responsibilities: Examine and provide constructive assessments of QHSE readiness plans for projects and assets developed by respective leads, offering guidance and feedback. Perform regular evaluations of QHSE deliverables with project leads at specified intervals. Evaluate and allocate necessary QHSE resources for projects by engaging with Project (PMs) and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs). Conduct routine site visits to vessels, including in-field assessments, and furnish feedback to Site and Vessel Managers and PMs. Ensure project adherence to Contractor and Company policies and procedures. Assist project teams during incidents by coordinating with the medical response team, Offshore Construction Manager (OCM), and Project leads. Coordinate incident review sessions based on the Incident Review Matrix. Provide counsel on HSE legislation and engage with regulatory bodies when necessary. Analyse statistics and issue monthly reports to relevant departments and heads. Conduct monthly Management Reviews of the project's HSE management system to verify its proper functioning. Collaborate with the Company on HSE matters and offer support to the regional QHSE Manager and Project Managers during meetings as needed.
