The customer data held resides in a number of repositories as oppose to real time databases such as SQL or Oracle. Data is being collected as per due process on a daily basis by engineers. When the data sources are interrogated, the information is not clear and therefore cannot currently be used in a compelling manner. As such we require an individual to interrogate and streamline the data, improve and refine the data capture process and enable simple & focused reporting to meet many requirements. To do this, the data analyst will be expected to:

  • Discover and understand current data sources and software (Excel, TrackIT, StruxureWear, Service Now, etc)

  • Demonstrate and provide relevant skills to view and manipulate the data sources.

  • Suggest and make improvements to align, fine tune and simplify stored data

  • Suggest and document improvements for how data should be gathered and recorded, detailing the step by step activities to do so.

  • Produce targeted, relevant, accurate and simple reports and dashboards

  • Represent  and lead workshops with regard to the data sources.
