Our client is an international company in the design and consultancy industry. They provide services in to building, civil, architecture, environmental and water industries.  Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Technical Leader to join their team in the Midlands, on a permanent basis.


Job Role:

You will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Technicians and Specialists in the delivery of needs assessments, studies and solution development associated with the delivery of a major capital investment programme. You will be required to take a hands on approach to managing the delivery of project output. In addition, you will communicate across delivery teams to ensure that delivery is being achieved to acceptable quality, cost and schedule parameters.

  • Responsible for leading project teams to develop and deliver solutions on projects
    Work with Project Managers to deliver projects to high standards, on time and on budget.
    Co-ordinate multi-disciplinary activities

  • Liaise with the client and other stakeholder representatives
    Ensure project outputs conform to the scope, are safe and are of an appropriate quality that has been confirmed by an independent review
    Delivery of project outputs on time and in accordance with the allocated budgets, and ensuring Client endorsement.

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, partners, consultants and contractors.
    Achieve project delivery milestones - deliver quality outputs to budget and schedule.
    Satisfaction of external clients with the quality of delivery and services  Contribution to the professional development of technical staff.



  • Fully Qualified Chartered Engineer.

  • Experience delivering studies and feasibility projects.

  • Experience leading multi-disciplined teams delivering projects within the UK Water Sector.

  • Expert level of business development and client service management i.e. the ability to build and maintain long lasting and positive relationships with clients.

  • Experience in managing technical professionals.
