Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a reputable design and construction consultancy on a long-term contract basis. This position is outside IR35, and provides a fantastic opportunity for the selected candidate to work on a variety of Data Centre and Pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have the ability to attend the Birmingham office 2 days per week.

Our client specialises in the design, construction and commissioning of high-tech facilities. For over 50 years, they have built their expertise working for the world's leading Pharmaceutical, Food, Data Centre and Medical technology companies. Due to their expanding workload, they are looking for a motivated Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Utilise BIM software, such as Revit, to develop 3D models of buildings and structures, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of the project.

·         Support the design team through later stages.

·         Participate in design and technician review.

·         Help maintain strong client relations.

·         Coordinate with different discipline.

·         Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a strong team.

Experience/requirements:

·         Prior experience working as an Architectural Technician/Technologist.

·         Revit software knowledge/experience essential.

·         Pharmaceutical and Data Centre experience (essential).

·         Open to obtaining a Revit Licence.

·         Degree in Architecture or relevant field.

• Experience working on transportation projects.
