Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a motivated Associate, specialising in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, to join a leading Engineering Consultancy. This permanent role is located in London and requires the successful candidate to be client facing and hands on with the delivery of projects.

Our client is looking for an Associate Engineer to contribute to the success of their Engineering team by providing technical expertise and managing major projects. You will be joining a reputable Consultancy, who specialise in a variety of sectors, including, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Residential and Leisure. Our client offers services throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning and Construction, through to Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage mechanical or electrical engineering projects from concept to completion

Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the highest standards

· Provide technical leadership in either mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines

· Oversee the design and specification of building services systems

· Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring their satisfaction

· Build and maintain strong client relationships

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions

· Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff

· Ensure that designs comply with relevant standards and codes

· Conduct quality reviews and technical audits

·  Identify business opportunities and contribute to business development activities

· Participate in the preparation of bids and proposals

· Conduct site visits, inspections, and coordinate with construction teams

· Address any technical issues that may arise during the construction phase

Key Requirements:

· Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Proven experience in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering within the building services sector

· Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Familiarity with industry software tools and standards
