Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced BIM Technician to join a leading MEP contractor on a long-term contract basis in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting data centre project, where your expertise in Revit MEP, Navisworks clash detection, and asset data management will be key in ensuring seamless project coordination from Stage 4 to Stage 5.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed BIM models for data centre projects using Revit MEP.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks to identify and resolve coordination issues.
• Ensure Stage 4-5 coordination of MEP systems, collaborating closely with engineers and design teams.
• Maintain and organise asset data within BIM models for accurate project documentation.
• Support project teams with technical BIM expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Update and refine BIM models based on project developments and coordination reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Technician within the MEP sector.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks, particularly for clash detection.
• Experience in Stage 4-5 project coordination within building services.
• Knowledge of asset data management within BIM workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable.
