We have an exciting new BIM Coordinator role with one of our leading clients, they’re looking for someone with expertise and strong knowledge to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, spending three days a week in the client’s office located in Bristol and on site in Somerset.
Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, focusing on transport, construction and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
-Analyse input data models for BIM aspects in coordination with production team according to project procedures.
-Producing a model before the beginning of production
-Communicate with other engineers regarding interfaces between structures.
-IFC creation and IFC check (weekly export and for each GR) according to ICOS procedures and following a planning provided by production team.
-Coordination of the 3D activities on the model, including, interfaces, management of phases, and organisation of the works and modelling priorities.
-Manage and support of the draftsmen for the 3D issues.
-Develop and manage project-specific BIM execution plans (BEP).
Key Requirements:
-A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
-Strong knowledge and expertise using TELKA Structures and NavisWorks.
-Knowledge of object-orientated programming and Open API C#, is a bonus!
-Experience and knowledge of Navis Civil Works environment is also a plus!
-Great communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to define solutions.
-Knowledge of IFC and BCF.
