BIM Modeller

Are you an experienced BIM Modeller looking to work on exciting infrastructure projects that shape the future of sustainable development? This is your opportunity to join a global consultancy committed to innovation and tackling the climate emergency.

As a BIM Modeller, you will play a key role in producing and coordinating high-quality 3D CAD models and embedded data. You’ll ensure these align with project standards and the BIM Execution Plan while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. This is a permanent, hybrid role where the successful candidate will be required to attend either the London office or site 3 days per week.

In the UK, they’re delivering iconic projects across the transport and energy sectors, including major contributions to rail and road networks.

BIM Modeller Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage projects from technical design through to construction, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Create and coordinate detailed 3D CAD models using Bentley ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, RaceWAY, and MicroStation.
  • Lead model production, ensuring quality and alignment with the Component Catalogue and BEP.
  • Liaise with BIM leads to optimise clash results using advanced tools.
  • Support the BIM Coordinator and Manager in ensuring deliverables adhere to project standards.
  • Maintain and manage the ProjectWise Common Data Environment for accurate information flow.
  • Participate in quality assurance checks to meet employer information requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams on BIM-related issues.

BIM Modeller Skills and Experience

  • Substantial experience in infrastructure/transportation projects.
  • Proficient in Bentley software: ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, RaceWAY, and MicroStation.
  • Strong understanding of UK BIM Standards, including BS1192 and ISO 19650.
  • Experience with BEPs, TIDPs, MIDPs, and MPDTs.
  • Background in railway, transportation, or construction projects.
  • Ability to adapt to new BIM technologies and workflows.
