Attention BIM Managers!  

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated BIM Manager to join an international Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis, in London.

As the successful BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, coordination, and maintenance of models throughout the project lifecycle, whilst working with an established team.

Our client covers the entire life cycle of building projects and provides MEP, Sustainability and Process Engineering services for projects across the Built Environment.  

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Model coordination meetings

- Communicate with the project team to ensure projects are delivered within timescales and budgets

- Act as the point of contact for BIM on projects

- Auditing of 2D CAD drawings and 3D models

- Liaise with clients to be aware of project requirements and standards

- Attending BIM model co-ordination meetings when required

- Produce live Navisworks files with clash detection and associated reports for each 3D project

- Contribute to and question issues with the design/modelling process

- Work closely with the design team to ensure that models are produced to quality standards

- Adapt to changes by amending schedules and plans

- Manage the review process with the design and construction team

- Attend project meetings to present project progress

Key Requirements:

- Degree qualified in an appropriate Engineering discipline

- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD etc

- Working knowledge of BIM and modelling standards

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Demonstratable leadership skills

- Able to work to tight deadlines

- Extensive experience using Revit

- Strong knowledge of MS office word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook

- Basic understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems Engineering

- Past experience producing construction/ installation drawings using 3D modelling software
