Calling all CAD Draughters!

Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced CAD Draughter to join a reputable construction contractor on a contract or permanent basis. Located in Derby, this is a brilliant opportunity for the successful candidate to work on a variety of projects, outside IR35! If selected, you will be required to operate on a hybrid basis, attending the office 4 days per week.

They are a leading commercial and industrial contractor specialised in providing electrical, mechanical and civil engineering installations throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings based on sketches and specifications
• Utilise CAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings
• Collaborate closely with Engineers and Architects to ensure designs meet project requirements
• Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Organise and maintain documents for reference
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on feasibility, and cost-effectiveness
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD technology and techniques

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ideally a background in Water Treatment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
