Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Manager to play a crucial role in overseeing the creation and management of design drawings. This position offers the successful candidate the chance to join a design-led practice comprised of expert Building Services Engineers. The forward-thinking Practice have a wealth of experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sectors, and have a renowned reputation for their quality of Engineering and Electrical services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and lead the CAD team

· Provide technical support and solutions

· Outsource CAD projects  

· Oversee the implementation of CAD software tools

· Collaborate with managers and design teams to understand project requirements

· Attend project meetings when necessary

· Stay informed about the latest advancements in CAD technology

· Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards

· Establish and enforce CAD standards and best practices

· Develop and maintain positive relations with clients

Key Requirements:

· Previous experience managing projects

· Degree obtained in a related field

· Proven experience in a CAD management role, preferably in the design or engineering industry

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in CAD software tools, for example AutoCAD, Revit is beneficial but not essential

· Strong leadership and managerial skills

· In-depth knowledge of CAD standards and best practices

· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
