Calling all experienced CAD Technicians!

Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a highly skilled CAD technician to join a reputable digital technology consultancy on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be electrically bias and have extensive experience with 2D AutoCAD.

This remote position is outside IR35 and will see the selected candidate working on a variety of exciting data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience developing engineering drawings based on sketches and markups provided, working those into high quality drawings and models
• Completing and revising detailed drawings and models for implementation
• Ensuring that all work meets the quality of the client brief
• Communicating with teams of Engineers, Designers, and other project staff

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified.
• Data centre experience required.
• Have a high level of expertise of 2D drafting using AutoCAD.
• Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including clients and other design teams
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of developing and maintaining in-house CAD/BIM standards and tools
