Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Civil Engineer to join an Independent Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent staff basis.

This position offers the chance to work on a hybrid basis from the London office.  

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for a Civil Engineer to be part of a successful team whilst developing technical designs and managing various schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

- The writing of fee proposals

- Attend project and client meetings when necessary

- Manage, prepare and control costs and budgets of Engineering projects

- Produce designs to appropriate standards

· Assist in the preparation of contract documents and specifications

· Conduct inspections and surveys

· Manage elements of projects if and when required

· Contribute to the technical development of the design function of the team

Key Requirements:

· Previous experience working as a Civil Engineer

· A degree in Civil Engineering

·2-3 years’ Highways experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrate a sound understanding of legislation, hazards and safe systems of work

- Communicate new concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Ability to act on your own initiative
