Blueprint Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join a leading contractor on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of design and build projects across the Rail, Highway, and Water sectors, providing civil, structural, highways, and infrastructure design services to both in-house and external clients. If selected, you will be required to operate on a full-time and remote basis.

They have participated in the development of all types of infrastructure and facilities across both UK and international markets since its inception, contributing to better living conditions across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical and commercial aspects of infrastructure engineering design projects
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports to meet project outcomes
• Undertake site visits, surveys, and investigations to support project delivery
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, Environmental legislation, and internal quality standards
• Liaise with clients and manage project fees effectively
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, codes of practice, and industry developments
• Plan and manage project delivery to meet agreed time and cost requirements
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, ensuring their project objectives are understood and met

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
• Expertise in design and construction for below ground drainage, external works design, and Flood Risk Assessments
• In-depth knowledge of UK drainage standards, including Building Regulations Part-H, DCG guidance, and British Standards
• Proficiency with design software tools such as Civils 3D, Microdrainage and Infodrainage.
