Calling all Civil Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing Engineering and Transport Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Fareham. 

This position is offering the successful candidate the chance to be part of an experienced Engineering team and the responsibility of developing complex, technical designs for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake and manage team resources for design work, in accordance with the appropriate standards and codes
• Be responsible for the writing of fee proposals
• Review junior team members reports, design and drawing work
• Attend client meetings and site visits
• Manage, prepare and control costs/budgets of Engineering projects

Key Requirements:

• Previous Consultancy experience 
• Experience working with local authorities, Developers and Architects 
• Experience Working on Residential, Commercial and Retirement/Care projects 
• Civil Engineering project management experience
• Able to manage teams or technical specialisms
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of legislation, hazards and safe systems of work
• Communicate new concepts and ideas to stakeholders
