Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary Design consultancy to work on all aspects of Civil works. This permanent position is located in London, Warwick or Salford, and requires the successful Civil Design Engineer to operate on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensuring designs are carried out in accordance with current standards & best practices

· Preparation of designs for civil and drainage schemes, from initial feasibility, planning schemes, concept through to detailed design

· Production of design calculations, checking and reviewing of calculations prepared by others

· Provide Technical design guidance and review integration of civil designs with other design packages

· Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards

· Maintain awareness of commercial and technical management of projects to assist in ensuring that they are managed effectively within budgetary constraints

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Experience working on surface and foul drainage designs, ground modelling and pavement setting out and design

· Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

· Ability to take initiative and work independently

·  Working knowledge of industry best practices
