Our client is a leading mechanical and electrical contractor with a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they specialise in providing tailored solutions for complex projects, ensuring exceptional results every time. Currently, they are working on exciting care home and residential developments and are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join their team.

Role Overview

As a Commissioning Manager, you will oversee the electrical commissioning processes for key projects, ensuring systems are tested and operational to the highest standards. This site-based role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and effective communication skills to coordinate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end commissioning process, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with design, installation, and project teams to verify system functionality.
  • Perform on-site inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide clear reporting on progress and resolve any commissioning-related issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in electrical commissioning, ideally within the care home or residential sectors.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively on site.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
