Attention all Commissioning Coordinators!

 

Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Coordinators to join a multidisciplinary Water contractor on a long-term contract basis. This position offers largely remote working, with occasional travel to the Bradford office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commissioning and commissioning documentation, as well as site activities and coordination. Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of exciting Water Treatment projects!

 

Our client is a well-established engineering and construction company specialising in the Water and Wastewater sector. They have a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects through their experienced project management and in-house operational teams. The company has particular expertise in civil engineering and MEICA, enabling them to offer comprehensive solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected team in a major industry.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and coordinate commissioning activities for Water Treatment projects, ensuring that all processes are carried out according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Develop, review, and maintain commissioning documentation, including plans, reports, and procedures.
  • Work closely with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and site staff, to ensure smooth delivery of commissioning activities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of commissioning tasks, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
  • Liaise with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and that communication is clear and consistent throughout the project.
  • Support the commissioning and handover processes, ensuring that all systems are fully functional and meet regulatory standards before project completion.
  • Occasionally travel to the Bradford office and project sites as needed to oversee and inspect on-site activities.

 

Key requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Coordinator, preferably within the Water or Wastewater sector.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes, including the development and management of commissioning documentation.
  • Familiarity with Water Treatment projects and site coordination activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with clients and cross-functional teams.
