Are you a motivated EC&I Engineer looking for your next career challenge?

Well look no further! Blueprint Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity to work alongside a leading design and engineering contractor on a long-term contract basis in Cumbria. This client-facing role requires an office presence of 4 days per week, and as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the delivery of EC&I design and engineering for area systems.

Our client:

Specialising in complex infrastructure, process and built environments across the full project life-cycle, our client’s disciplines range from initial architecture to civil and structural, building services and CDM consultancy. They are providing the selected candidate with a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of exciting nuclear projects.

Key responsibilities:

· Responsible for the creation of design documentation, as well as reviewing the work of other engineers & designers.

·  Accountable for coordinating with construction to respond to TQ’s/PP’s and concessions.

· Representative for design on plant walk-downs, snagging, and general inspections

· Responsible for coordinating with construction and commissioning

Key requirements:

· Hold a minimum HND or equivalent (Essential)

· Degree in the relevant field is preferable

· Ability to gain full Security Clearance in requirements

· Proven experience in delivering nuclear EC&I design in a similar role/environment

· Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills.

· Experience of taking a lead role in delivering engineering packages

· Familiar with EC&I deliverables

· Expertise in examining design to ensure its suitability for the design process, thoroughness, and functionality.

Experience of working with a client organisation to ensure a collaborative approach to design assurance.

· Ability to chair and control meetings.
