Our client, a global leader in engineering and design consultancy, is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis. This means you’ll spend up to three days a week working from their London office as part of their electrical team.

Our client is a global leader in the engineering and design consultancy space. This role specifically will focus on sectors including, Commercial, Residential, Hotels, Retail, Mixed Use developments and Data Centres.

Key Responsibilities:
-Design and specify electrical systems like power, lighting, and fire alarms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client needs.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

-Create technical drawings, schematics, and calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

-Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time.

-Conduct site surveys and inspections, identify issues, and recommend solutions.

-Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-Proven experience in electrical design engineering.

-Experience using electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

-Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients and team members.

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
