Electrical Design Engineer required!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking to speak with driven Electrical Design Engineers to join an independent Design Consultancy, on a contract basis, outside IR35.

This position offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the London office 3 days per week to work on Commercial projects.

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, implementation and maintenance of various Electrical Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools

· The design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems

· Maintain and develop positive client relations

- Participate in project and client meetings

- Ensure design work is in accordance with departmental procedures

· Complete site surveys and inspections

· Ensure the understanding of project briefs

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Electrical Engineering

· Extensive Electrical Design Engineer experience 

· Excellent communication skills

· Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools

- Prior experience working on Healthcare and Hospital projects is beneficial

- Awareness of the principles of building physics

- Ability to be client facing
