Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading consultancy in their London office. As the selected candidate, you will work on some of the most exciting and high-profile electrical design projects in London and internationally, collaborating with industry-leading developers and clients. This is a hybrid position where the selected candidate will be required to attend the office 3 days per week.

In this role, you will contribute to designing energy-efficient and innovative systems across a variety of sectors, including education, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and transport. Current projects include sustainability-focused renovations of commercial office spaces, high-performance new build developments such as energy-efficient educational facilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects aimed at modernising key transport hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical engineering designs across a range of sectors.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to projects involving refurbishment, new builds, and sustainability-focused remodelling.
  • Play a key role in high-profile projects, including commercial office redesigns and Passivhaus-standard developments.
  • Over time, take on greater responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills advance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical design for commercial offices (refurbishment and new build), education, hospitality, or transport projects.
  • Knowledge of decarbonisation and energy-efficient systems is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of UK building regulations and design standards.
  • Familiarity with CAT B office fit-outs or Passivhaus standards is beneficial.
  • Ambition to work towards Chartership, with full support provided.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
