This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact port development project, where your expertise in LV design, cable calculations, and lighting systems will play a crucial role. With a flexible hybrid work arrangement, you’ll enjoy the autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This is a long-term contract position where the selected candidate will be required to attend the London, Chester or Southampton office one day per fortnight.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing comprehensive LV design solutions tailored to project specifications.
• Performing detailed cable calculations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Designing state-of-the-art lighting systems for optimal functionality and sustainability.
• Collaborating with project teams to deliver timely and cost-effective designs.
• Attending review meetings at your chosen office location once a fortnight.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Proven experience in LV design, cable calculations, and lighting systems.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
