Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with skilled Electrical Engineers, who are interested joining a leading water company on a permanent basis in London. This role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical designs for innovative filtration systems across multiple UK projects. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Our client

Our client is a market leader in advanced water treatment technologies, specialising in cost-effective and energy-efficient filtration systems. Committed to sustainability and excellence, they deliver turnkey projects that help water companies meet regulatory standards while improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical schematics, schedules, specifications, and user requirement documents using templated designs.
  • Liaise with control panel and system integration suppliers, including conducting acceptance tests remotely or on-site.
  • Manage 10–20 projects at various stages, ensuring compliance with project requirements and high-quality assurance.
  • Adapt standard designs to meet individual water company specifications.
  • Oversee procurement, manufacturing, and inspection of components, skids, and control panels.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the design, procurement, and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably within supplier or contractor organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design processes and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Familiarity with procurement and inspection processes for electrical components and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, task focus, and efficiency in delivering templated designs.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.
  • Experience in water treatment or similar industries is advantageous.
