Well look no further! Blueprint Recruitment are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy on a long-term contract basis in London! This is a hybrid  position and will see the successful candidate working on variety of exciting commercial, mixed-use and transportation projects.

Our client is a well-respected global engineering consultancy, recognized for its expertise in structural, civil, geotechnical, and construction engineering. They work across multiple sectors, including high-rise buildings, transport infrastructure, and complex projects, often involving innovative solutions for challenging designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical aspects of commercial, mixed-use, and transportation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Provide in-depth geotechnical analysis and solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including structural, civil, and construction engineers.
• Develop and review geotechnical designs, reports, and risk assessments to meet project requirements.
• Apply creative approaches to challenging designs, emphasising efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure all designs and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
• Extensive background in geotechnical engineering for commercial, mixed-use, or transport projects.
• Strong foundation in geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, Oasys, Wallap, or similar).
• Proficiency in soil mechanics, foundation design, and slope stability analysis.
• Familiarity with advanced geotechnical investigation and testing techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional recognition is a plus.
