Are you a Highway Engineer looking for your next career move?
Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Highway Engineer to join a leading Highways Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis.
Our client is offering the flexibility to attend the Essex office and sites on a hybrid basis, to perform junction improvements in the Essex area.
The successful candidate will have the chance to be part of a hard-working Engineering team and the responsibility of planning, designing and implementing Highway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and design phases of Highway projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
· Develop Engineering designs, specifications, and construction plans
· Specify and select appropriate materials for construction
· Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates
· Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of Highway infrastructure
· Conduct inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design standards
Key Requirements:
· Experience working on Highways projects
· Experience delivering work in CAD, Civil 3D and Micodrianage
· A degree in Engineering or a related field
· Proven experience in Highway Engineering and project management
· Proficient in relevant Engineering software and design tools
· Strong knowledge of Highway design codes, standards, and regulations
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
