Blueprint Recruitment is looking to speak with driven IES Modellers to join a specialist Construction Company, on a permanent basis in either Cambridge or Oxford. This role is offering the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis!  

As the selected candidate, you will have the opportunity to work with Engineers and Designers on exciting Commercial and Pharmaceutical projects, whilst being responsible for creating detailed energy models of Buildings.  

Our client has a wealth of experience in offering Building Services Engineering, Sustainability and Architectural Lighting Design services for Leisure, Education and Industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate the energy performance of buildings

· Identify opportunities for energy savings, carbon emissions reduction, and renewable energy integration

· Ensure that building designs comply with relevant sustainability standards and local building regulations

· Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Project Teams to integrate energy modelling into the design process

· Provide technical guidance and support to facilitate informed design decisions

· Address client feedback and concerns related to energy performance and sustainability

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in building energy modeling

· Support more junior staff members

Key Requirements:

· Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering or a relevant subject

· Extensive experience in building energy modeling

· Solid understanding of building physics principles, heat transfer mechanisms, and energy conservation measures

· Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy codes and standards

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet project deadlines
