Blueprint Recruitment has a brilliant opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to join a reputable Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Bromley.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development and implementation of Mechanical Systems and components for Education, Healthcare and Residential projects.

Our client has a wealth of experience in offering Design, Construction Monitoring and Energy Certification services in the following sectors, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in the design and Engineering of Mechanical Systems

· Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations

· Conduct Engineering analysis and simulations to assess the performance and efficiency of Mechanical Systems

· Provide technical assistance and support to project teams, Contractors, and Clients

· Ensure that Mechanical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Architects, Structural Engineers, and Electrical Engineers to integrate Mechanical systems

· Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and value Engineering exercises to enhance project outcomes

· Assist in project management activities, such as budget tracking and resource allocation

Key Requirements:

· Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field

· Previous experience in Mechanical Engineering

· Proficiency in CAD software and Engineering analysis tools

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems and fire protection systems

· Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Detail-oriented mindset
