Are you a highly experienced M&E Project Engineer and ready for a challenge?

Our client, a leading water treatment organisation, is offering a talented individual the opportunity to join their team, on a contract basis, outside IR35, to continue their legacy of operational brilliance. Within this role, you will be working on a hybrid basis, on Affinity Water sites, in West London, where in which you’ll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise on a variety of Water Treatment projects.

-Competitive day rate ranging between £375-£425 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and oversee all on-site engineering works within a variety of Water Treatment projects, across several disciplines, with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical systems.

-Produce, interpret, and maintain project documentation, with a focus on specifications, reports, drawings, and change controls.

-Support project preparation looking into the planning, cost and budget tracking, scheduling, and risk management, across all ongoing projects.

-Conduct and assist with on-site activities, such as commissioning, inspections, witnessing tests, and final handover.

-Coordinate with project professionals, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring that all works align with outlined specifications and client requirements.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

-Extensive experience within a Project Engineer role, or similar, with demonstratable experience with delivering complex projects within the water treatment sector.

-Strong proficiency in the use of relevant software tools such as SCADA, PLC, and Telementry.

-Solid understanding of relevant industry standards, health and safety procedures, site activities and works, and commissioning processes.

-Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with key project professionals and bodies.

-Relevant professional certifications or working towards chartered status (e.g., ICE, IMechE, CIOB) is desirable.
