We are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Technical Director to direct and lead project delivery, within our client’s leading construction, engineering, and architecture consultancy. Our client is offering the opportunity to join their organisation on a permanent basis, with a hybrid working arrangement, whereby all operations will take place from their London office. -Competitive salary ranging between £90,000-£110,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Manage and oversee project teams across a variety of complex Data Centre projects, ensuring effective design and delivery.
-Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project professionals to establish specifications and requirements, promoting strong rapport and business development.
-Create and analyse detailed designs, specifications, surveys, calculations, and due-diligence reports, ensuring industry standards and client needs are being followed.
-Oversee and monitor project financials, focusing on fee proposals, feasibility studies, risk assessments, cost and profit analysis, and target margin assurance.
-Support with the development, testing, implementation, and procurement processes, throughout construction, ensuring functionality, quality, and legal compliance.
-Mentor and guide junior engineers, whilst promoting and representing the organisation across meetings and presentations.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered status, or working towards attaining one.
-Significant demonstratable experience as a Mechanical Technical Director, or a similar position, delivering high quality Data Centre projects.
-Profound technical background, with an understanding of current industry standards, building services design principles, and health and safety regulations.
-Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
-Profound leadership abilities, with an understanding of how best to support and guide junior professionals, whilst driving business growth and development.
