Our client is offering one talented Revit MEP Coordinator the opportunity to work on a variety of Commercial Fit-out projects, on a contract basis, outside IR35. The successful professional would be operating from their main office, based in Birmingham, on a hybrid basis, working two days a week. -Competitive day rate of £200-£300 (depending on experience).
-Hybrid working arrangements (two days on-site).
Responsibilities:
-Develop detailed MEP system designs and models, for a range of Commercial Fit-out projects, with the use of relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
-Maintain up to date project documentation throughout all project stages, ensuring they are accurate and ready for project handover.
-Work alongside project professionals, ensuring effective and transparent communication, ensuring plans are clear and aligned with specifications.
-Ensure effective project delivery, from concept through to completion, ensuring specifications and client requirements are being maintained.
-Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and other relevant professional teams to identify and resolve design issues, ensuring ongoing efficiency.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree, or a relevant qualification, in Building Services, BIM, and/or Engineering, is desirable but not essential.
-Demonstratable experience as a Revit MEP Coordinator, or a similar position, ideally with an understanding of Commercial Fit-out project systems.
-Proficient understanding of relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit, and key BIM principles and clash detection programmes, like Navisworks.
-Strong acknowledgment of MEP site and system workflows, with a solid grasp of drawing and specification interpretation.
-Effective communication, multitasking, and collaborative skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, and a strong attention to detail.
