Our client is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their innovative water industry engineering consultancy, on a permanent basis, and continue their mission towards operational brilliance. This opportunity will take place from our client’s main office in London, where in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, producing high-quality works for a range of projects, with a large focus on water and wastewater systems.
-Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £75,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Manage the design, development, and delivery of a variety of water and wastewater projects, following from initial concept through to design establishment.
-With the support of relevant software tools, assemble and maintain project documentation, specifications, reports, calculations, and detailed drawings.
-Liaise with project professionals, establishing and reviewing concise civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with client requirements and efficient solution integration.
-Direct frequent site visits and inspections to support works throughout the construction stage, ensuring the design intent is being followed accurately.
-Nurture business development by ensuring health and safety compliance, quality assurance, and ongoing progression, whilst maintaining industry best practices.
-Act as a representation of the business within meetings, workshops, design reviews, whist supporting business growth through proposals and bids.
Requirements:
-Masters’s degree in Civil and Water Engineering, or a relevant discipline, with a Chartered Engineer status (CEng).
-8+ years of experience as an Associate Civil Engineer, or a similar role, working on a variety of non-infrastructure water and wastewater treatment projects.
-Strong proficiency with civil design, construction strategies, and analysis, with a significant understanding of software tools, such as Tekla, STAAD, AutoCAD and TEDDS.
-Significant acknowledgement of current industry design standards, water industry regulations and principles, and Eurocodes.
-Effective communication, mentoring, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a full UK driving license and a willingness to travel to sites when necessary.
