Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Annual Bonus
The Opportunity
We are seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our Energy, Water and Resources portfolio, supporting the delivery of high-impact projects that benefit society, industry and the environment.
You’ll work as part of multidisciplinary teams on a diverse range of schemes, including:
· Water and wastewater treatment and supply
· Dams, reservoirs and flood risk infrastructure
· Renewable energy and low-carbon systems
· Hydrogen production and energy storage
· Industrial process and complex pipework systems

Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers with a strong background in the water sector, operating at a senior level with 5+ years’ industry experience.
Key skills and experience include:
· Proven experience delivering mechanical design within water, energy or industrial environments
· Strong understanding of mechanical equipment selection and application
· Experience across feasibility and detailed design, particularly in water and energy systems
· Solid knowledge of piping design standards, safety systems and industrial pipework
· Competence in relevant design tools and software (e.g. BIM, Plant 3D, AutoPIPE or similar)
· Experience in utility infrastructure (e.g. gas networks) is beneficial
· Chartered status (or working towards) through IMechE or a relevant professional body
