Hydraulic Modeller – London – Contract  

Attention all Hydraulic Modellers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join a respected engineering consultancy in a 3-month contract position, based in London. This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of flood risk and drainage projects, working closely with clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Deliver hydraulic and river modelling to support flood mitigation and infrastructure projects.

·         Carry out hydrological analysis and flood risk assessments.

·         Support the design of drainage systems and flood mitigation solutions.

·         Produce technical reports, modelling outputs, and supporting documentation.

·         Liaise with clients and project teams to support project delivery.

What we are looking for:

·         Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

·         Experience with hydraulic modelling, hydrological analysis, and flood risk assessments.

·         Experience delivering flood mitigation design from concept through to detailed design.

·         Strong communication and client-facing skills.

·         Ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation.

Desirable:

·         Working towards or holding Chartered status (MICE, CIWEM or similar).

·         Experience working within a consultancy environment.

·         Strong understanding of drainage design and flood risk management principles.
