Architectural Technologist – Stage 4 / Revit / Education & Residential

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technologist (or a technical Architect) to join a well-established architectural team in Cardiff, supporting the delivery of Stage 4 technical design projects.

This role offers the chance to work across a strong pipeline of Laboratories, Healthcare, Housing, Industrial, Infrastructure, Transportation, Arts & Culture, Commercial developments, with a focus on technical detailing, Revit modelling and construction-stage delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality technical information and supporting project delivery through Stage 4, within a collaborative and design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering RIBA Stage 4 technical design packages
• Producing detailed Revit models and technical drawings
• Working on education and residential development projects
• Producing and coordinating construction information and detailing
• Collaborating with architects, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and standards
• Supporting project delivery within programme and quality targets
• Assisting with coordination and resolution of technical design issues

Requirements

To be considered for this Architectural Technologist role, candidates should have:

• Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist or technical Architect
• Strong experience delivering Stage 4 technical design projects
• Experience working on education and/or residential projects
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
• Strong communication and coordination skills
