This role is ideal for an engineer with around 5–8 years' experience who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients and contributing to schemes from concept through to completion.

You'll be joining a collaborative structural team working across a mix of new-build and refurbishment projects, with exposure to a broad range of building structures and development-led schemes.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Delivering structural design solutions across residential and commercial developments
• Producing structural calculations, reports and technical specifications
• Designing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber where appropriate
• Supporting projects from feasibility through to construction
• Liaising with architects, contractors and project stakeholders
• Attending site visits and technical meetings
• Assisting with project coordination and technical delivery

What They're Looking For

• 5–8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer within a UK consultancy environment
• Strong structural design capability across building structures projects
• Experience working on residential and commercial developments
• Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer and TEDDS
• Good understanding of UK design standards and regulations
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage projects with a degree of autonomy
