This role is ideal for an experienced consultant with a strong background in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) who enjoys leading environmental inputs, managing client relationships and supporting multidisciplinary project teams through complex development programmes.

You'll play a key role in the delivery of environmental assessments and consenting activities across a diverse project portfolio, with a significant focus on water and environmental infrastructure schemes.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Leading Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) across a range of infrastructure projects
• Coordinating environmental inputs from multidisciplinary teams
• Preparing and reviewing environmental reports and technical documentation
• Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement activities
• Supporting environmental planning and consenting strategies
• Providing technical guidance to junior team members
• Working closely with engineers, planners and environmental specialists
• Supporting project delivery from early feasibility through to planning and construction stages

The role offers exposure to major infrastructure and environmental projects, with opportunities to contribute across multiple sectors.

What They're Looking For

• Experience as a Senior Environmental Consultant, Environmental Planner or Environmental Advisor
• Strong EIA experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience managing environmental deliverables and project programmes
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and planning processes
• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience

Ideally, candidates will come from an engineering, environmental or planning consultancy background.
